PostSubject: Ultimate Dino R.P.G   Ultimate Dino R.P.G Icon_minitimeWed Aug 06, 2008 8:14 am

This is basicly like Ltl so just copy your profile from the legacy and post it here
Name: Dread
Species:Sorna Raptor
Age:17 Subadult
***:Male
Height: 4 feet
Length: 10 feet
Weight: 47 pounds
Wingspan:N/A
Colouration: Has A Creamy Brown Underbelly, With A Black And Red Back And Two Light Blue Stripes Running Down Back. Also Has Blue Quills On His Head.
Bio:His Father Was Killed By A Large Pack Of Nublar Raptors They Also Killed The Other Pack Members But He Ran Away.
Territory:Jungle
Have fun peeps
the species
Name: Allosaurus fragillis
Length: 40 feet
Height: 14 feet
Weight: 4.5 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male - A bright and vibrant red with black tiger-like stripes along back.
female - A much darker red, still with the stripes.
juvinille - both sexes - Light brown with thinner versions of the stripes.
Diet: Small to medium sized herbivorous dinosaurs.
Preffered Habitat: Mixture of Forest, Swamp and Open Grassland.
Social Structure: Solitary to small groups.
Extra Information: Are very fast, reaching speeds of up to 50mph to catch prey. They are also very territorial; don't get on the bad side of these Jurassic Carnivores.

Name: Baryonyx walkeri
Length: 40 feet
Height: 15 feet
Weight: 4 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male - Males have green mottled bodies, with dark green blotches on their back and pale yellow underbellies.
female – Females have brown bodies with pale underbellies.
juvinille - both sexes - A lighter version of the adult female colouration.
Diet: Mainly fish, along with carrion and occasionly small dinosaurs like Hypsilophodon.
Preffered Habitat: Near a river, lake or on the coast.
Social Structure: Either solitary or in pairs.
Extra Information: This dinosaur is generally docile and respects the territories of larger carnivores. They are exceptional fisherman, spearing fish on a distinctive hook-like claw before devouring them and is a fantastic swimmer, able to stay submerged for up to four minutes.

Name: Cacharodontosaurus "carollini" (Actually Giganotosaurus; cloned before the fossils were discovered)
Length: 44 feet
Height: 15 feet
Weight: 5.5 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male - Males are lime green with red stripes down their back and red brows.
female - Hazel brown with dark brown stripes down back.
juvinille - both sexes - Completely black.
Diet: Herbivorous dinosaurs like hadrosaurs, but can take down sauropods when hunting in packs.
Preffered Habitat: Open spaces like the Game Trail.
Social Structure: Medium-sized packs with the occasional solitary rouge male.
Extra Information: One of the largest carnivores on Isla Sorna, when hunting in packs they are feared for their supreme hunting success, and have been known to bring down Brachiosaurs in epic fights-to-the-death. So if you spot their distinctive yellow eyes on the Game Trail, beware.

Name: Carnotaurus sastrei
Length: 18 feet
Height: 8 feet
Weight: 1 ton
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: Base color is a chalky white, but is only seen when the animal is sufficiently surprised. Individual carnotaurs are known to have one other base coloration they are most comfortable with, this taking the place of the usual individual variations of color in other dinosaurs. This means that, when revealing themselves when not frightened or surprised enough to let the chalky-white base color slip, individual carnotaurs display a wider array of color patterns than any other animal on the island.
Diet: Meat from small to medium prey.
Preferred Habitat: Anywhere there is sufficient shade so that the dancing sunlight patterns don't leave trails on their skin and reveal their presence.
Social Structure: Typically found in groups of 2 or 3 animals, with only a loose pack structure.
Extra Information: Nearly perfect chameleons. They use this skill to make up for their rather sluggish natures, being unable to chase prey for any substantial distances without tiring. Another thing of note is that, much like how in humans the decision-making centers of the brain do not become fully developed until adulthood, younger carnotaurs lack the necessary brain pathways to achieve full control of their color-changing abilities. This control comes upon adulthood, so hatchlings and juveniles only display rudimentary color-changing, such as changing colors based upon their mood. The ability to achieve the near-total invisibility there are famous for is a sign of adulthood. Carnotaurs are also primarily nocturnal animals, as their distinctive green eyes would show. On a final note, they have a distinctive roar again unlike that of any other dinosaur- “BRAAAGHT!”

Name: Ceratosaurus nasicornis
Length: 30.5 feet
Height: 12 feet
Weight: 1.2 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male – Males have red heads. Their bodies are a paler red color with black stripes.
female – Females have a brown body with pale stripes.
Diet: Meat from small to medium herbivores.
Preferred Habitat: Jungles
Social Structure: Somewhat sociable, will either be found alone or in packs of 2 to 3 animals at the most.
Extra Information: Extremely respectful of the territories of larger carnivores, which possibly comes from it having shared the Morrison fauna with the larger and burlier Allosaurus during its original timespan. Should not be messed with, as it will fight back against anything smaller than one of the superpredators if bothered too much. Possibly at least partly nocturnal, judging by its coloration.

Name: Compsognathus longpipes
Length: 3 feet
Height: 1 foot
Weight: 6 pounds
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male – Males are colored a bright green mottling with darker green back striping.
female - (see male)
juvinille - both sexes - Juvinilles are a light brown that gain green pigmentation later in life.
Diet: Dung, Carrion, Insects, Small Animals and Small dinosaurs when hunting in groups.
Preffered Habitat: Dense forest with plenty of cover.
Social Structure: Large groups which have been known to number of to eighty.
Extra Information: These are the most numerous dinosaurs on the island, and are generally harmless, but if in groups they can be very dangerous. Like pirahnas they can use group force to take down prey far larger than themselves. To add to that, they bacteria in their saliva that can eventually prove fatal if one has enough of it in their bloodstream, similar to Komodo Dragons of today.

Name: Dilophosaurus “venenifer”
Length: 22 feet
Height: 10 feet
Weight: 1,000 pounds
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration:
male – Males are olive green, with green blotches and some white striping on the body and crests, and a red and yellow mottled frill. Rare varition of yellow scales and black spots covering body.
female – Like the male, only a more drab green and paler markings, with the occasional drab yellow varient.
juvenile - both sexes - (see female)
Diet: Meat, from lizards to hadrosaurs.
Preferred Habitat: Heavily forested terrain near a water source
Social Structure: Pack animals with a patriarchal society. Generally sociable to other dilophosaurs.
Extra Information: Highly venomous. Both bites and spits to deliver venomous saliva. Can spit up to distances of about 20 feet. Venom blinds when delivered to the eyes. Either delivery system will eventually cause paralysis, allowing dilos to take down larger prey than their teeth and claws would otherwise allow. Also juveniles and subadults are very playful and inquisitive, taking their time in taking down prey, while adults are usually more reserved and direct in their hunting strategies.

Name: Herrerasaurus ischigualastensis
Length: 13 feet
Height: 4 feet
Weight: 80 pounds
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male – Males are a distinct bright red color, especially on the back, and have pale yellow underbellies and markings on their flanks.
female – Like the male, only with a more orange color instead of red and pale yellow backs.
juvinille - both sexes - see female
Diet: Carrion, Eggs, Mammals and Small Dinosaurs.
Preffered Habitat: Dense Jugle and Forest.
Social Structure: Usually in pairs, occasionly small groups.
Extra Information: The most unique thing about this small therapod is it's calls; sounding like a sharper version of the hyena's laugh, more of a cackle. They also known to climb well, to hunt prey like Birds, Monkeys, Sloths and Ocelots, and also to eat their kill where no other predator can reach them, much like the leopard.

Name: Metriacanthosaurus shangyouensis
Length: 26 feet
Height: 10 feet
Weight: 2 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration:male – Males are a distinct blue color, with broad triangular white stripes, white underbellies, and red heads.
female – Like the male, only without the red head.
juvinille - both sexes - see female
Diet: Scavenger and predator of small and medium/small dinosaurs.
Preffered Habitat: Dense forest and jungle.
Social Structures: Pairs and small groups.
Extra Information: These medium sized dinosaurs are generally more active at dusk, night and dawn. Males will often stay in bachelor pairs and take to the habit of teasing and mobbing other medium-large carnivores, similar to how crows act towards buzzards.

Name: Ornitholestes hermanni "ingen"
Length: 5.5 feet
Height: 3 feet
Weight: 55 pounds
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: adult - both sexes - Green body with dark green stripes and a pale underbelly. Small notch spikes along back and a Proceratosaurus-like horn on snout.
juvinille - both sexes - Pale green and pale underbelly with no spikes or horn.
Diet: Carrion, Lizards, Small Mammals, dinosaur chicks and smaller dinosaurs like Archeaoceratops.
Preffered Habitat: Anywhere on Isla Sorna, primarily forest.
Social Structure: Pairs that mate for life.
Extra Information: These small carnivores are practical thinkers when it comes to strategies, wether it's hunting prey or crossing water. Males and females stay together for life, making chattering noises with their jaw to each other.

Ultimate Dino R.P.G Empty
PostSubject: Re: Ultimate Dino R.P.G   Ultimate Dino R.P.G Icon_minitimeWed Aug 06, 2008 8:27 am

species 2
Name: Oviraptor philoceratops
Length: 10 feet
Height: 4.5 feet
Weight: 80 pounds
Winspan: N/A
Colouration: male - Creamy orange scales with long black and white feathers on Arms, Neck, Back and Tail, with a red crest.
female - As male just with brown and white feathers and an orange crest.
juvinille - Creamy orange body with brown blotches and no feathers.
Diet: Nuts, Eggs, Carrion, Invertabrates, Lizards, Small Mammals and Dinosaur chicks.
Preffered Habitat: Both dense forest and open plain.
Social Structure: Solitary.
Extra Information: One of the oddest looking dinosaurs on Sorna along with Erlikosaurus, Oviraptor is known for it's behaviour of cracking eggs and nuts with it's strong beak to eat what's inside. Males perform a mating dance similar to a crane, shaking feathers, running around and hopping into the air. When a female has a nest of eggs, she will use the feathers on her arms to keep them extra warm, hence the fact that they hatch quicker than other dinosaur eggs.

Name: Proceratosaurus bradleyi
Length: 15 feet
Height: 7 feet
Weight: 660 pounds
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male – Males are green with dark green back blotches and pale yellow underbellies. Horn is red.
female – Like the male, but without the quills and a gray horn.
juvinilles - both sexes - Like the females but with no horn that develops in life.
Diet: Scavenger of beached animals.
Preffered Habitat: Along coasts and estuaries.
Social Structure: Small packs with a dominant male.
Extra Information: With unique calls that include hissing, hooting, barking and unique duck-like quacks, these dinosaurs patrol the coastline as their territory, feeding on the near-dead and carcasses of beached animals such as turtles, dolphins and prehistoric marine reptiles.

Name: Segisaurus halli
Length: 4 feet
Height: 2 feet
Weight: 4 stone
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male – Males have orange and brown mottling, with darker horizontal stripes.
female – Females are a drab brownish-green with pale underbellies.
juvinille - both sexes - see adult
Diet: Carrion, Insects and other small animals like mammals and dinosaur chicks. Small Herbivores like Heterodontosaurus when in groups.
Preffered Habitat: Adaptable to any habitat, but prefers upland.
Social Structures: Solitary or Small groupes.
Extra Information: Make distinctive whistling sounds that can carry suprisingly far, and is probably the fastest carnivore on the Island, even more so than velociraptor.

Name: Spinosaurus aegypticus "robustus"
Length: 60 feet
Height: 18 feet (top of head), 25 feet (top of sail)
Weight: 9 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male – Males have brown and purple mottled bodies with blue and white markings on their sails.
female – Females have brown bodies with some blue and white markings on their sails.
juvinille - both sexes - Juvinilles have hazel brown bodies and no sail.
Diet: Fish, small dinosaurs & occasionlly hadrosaurs.
Preffered Habitat: Near a water source with good fish supply.
Social Structure: Solitary, and on rare occasions, in pairs.
Extra Information: The largest of Sorna's carnivores, this huge creature usually feeds on fish and small dinosaurs but breeding-age males get so pumped up with testorone that they go on a sort of Musth similar to modern elephants, making them hunt larger prey, become much stronger then they are, go on rampages and generally become extremely dangerous. Their large sail is used to keep this dinosaur cool during intense heat.

Name: Tyrannosaurus rex
Length: 45 feet
Height: 15 feet
Weight: 6 tons
Colouration: male - older – Older males have dark green mottled bodies, with dark green back striping.
male - younger – Like the older males, except their bodies are a noticeably more vivid green.
female – Females have brown and gray mottled bodies with dark brown and gray back striping.
juvenile - both sexes – Juveniles have brown and green mottled bodies with darker colored back striping.
Diet: Meat, from hypsilophodonts to hadrosaurs.
Preffered Habitat: Not fussy, taking both dense forests and open plains.
Social Structure: Generally Solitary or in pairs, but will sometimes form small packs.
Extra Information: One of the most fearsome and biggest predators of Isla Sorna, with an incredibly strong jaw with one bite to the neck. They suprisingly good parents, caring tenderley to their young untill sub-adulthood, and when they clash with rivals in great battles or let out their famous roar sillouetted by a rising sun, it is easy why they spark fear and majesty into smaller dinosaurs.

Name: Velociraptor antirrophus "nublarensis" (sensu Paul)
Length: 13 feet
Height: 6 feet
Weight: 60 pounds
Colouration: male – Males have orange bodies with black stripes and pale white underbellies.
female – Females have brown and gray mottled bodies with faint striping and paler brown underbellies.
juvenile - both sexes – Juveniles have pale brown, almost cream colored body.
Diet: Carnivourous, able to take mammals and small herbivores when alone and hadrosaurs in packs.
Preffered Habitat: Wide range of habitats from jungle, grassland and wetland, even taking up residence in abandoned InGen sites such as the Worker Village.
Social Structure: Hiracheal Packs similar to that of a wolf, with an alpha pair.
Extra Information: Undoubtedly one of the most intelligent, lethal, ferocious and terrifying dinosaurs on Sorna. These animals use pack strength when hunting larger animals, slashing viciously with their large toe claws and leaping great heights to kill their prey. They are also known to attack purely for the fun of it on occasions. They are very intelligent, but not as much as their sornaensis cousins, the reason InGen bred this species in the first place.

Name: Velociraptor antirrophus "sornaensis" (sensu Paul)
Length: 12 feet
Height: 5 feet
Weight: 59 pounds
Colouration: male – Males have a creamy brown underbelly, with brown and red backs and two light blue stripes running down back.
female – Females are creamy white with black blotches on their bodies.
juvinille - male - Same as adult though without the quills and stripes.
juvinille - female - Same as adult though with brown blotches.
Diet: See nublarensis.
Preffered Habitat: See nublarensis.
Social Structure: See nublarensis.
Extra Information: This was the first raptor subspecies bred by InGen, but as it turned out, these raptors were incredibly intelligent, at chimp level even. Unlike their nublarensis cousins, who used a 'kill first ask questions later' hunting strategy, sornaensis used their intelligence to draw their prey into a trap, where the pack could then kill at will. This made them to risky to be kept in a Park enviroment, so nublarensis was bred instead. They are also one of the most vocal of Isla Sorna's bestiary, communicating with over 2,000 differnt sounds. They keep extremely strict records of their packs, able to tell if even an egg is gone.

new herbies and from now on only one carnie one herbie or it dies in a natrul disaster
Name: Brachiosaurus brancai
Length: 82 feet
Height: 50 feet
Weight: 80 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male – Males have mainly a pale green and gray mottling, with pale yellow striping on their bodies and a red crest.
female – Females have brown and gray mottling, with some individuals having darker striping.
juvenile - both sexes (see female)
Diet: Treetop foliage
Preferred Habitat: Anywhere there’s sufficient tree coverage.
Social Structure: Medium but spread-out feeding groups so as not to overgraze. Long-distance communication and mating contests are carried out through songs.
Extra Information: Probably the heaviest animals InGen created. Sing a surprising variety of songs for different situations and purposes.

Name: Gallimimus bullatus
Length: 13 feet
Height: 9 feet
Weight: 1,000 pounds
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male – Males are shades of orange, with some individuals having striping or blotches.
female – Like the male, though females are usually a paler orange, with some individuals having striping or blotches.
juvenile – both sexes - (see female)
Diet: Although generally classed as a herbivore, is infact omnivourous, taking both plants & fruit and eggs, insects & small animals
Preferred Habitat: Wide Open Spaces, which it reguarly migrates between.
Social Structure: Large herds with up to 30-50 individuals.
Extra Information: Relying on their great speed and large flocks to escape predators, these omnivores are easily spooked and can stampede because of it.

Name: Iguanodon bernissartensis
Length: 33 feet on average, with some massive individuals reaching lengths of 42.6 feet
Height: 16 feet on average
Weight: 3.5 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: Both sexes- Forest green with a lighter green belly and pink on the throat but not the back of the neck
Juveniles- both sexes- a more vibrant version of the above, but without the pink on the throat
Diet: Plants. can handle nearly anything with their batteries of grinding teeth
Preferred Habitat: Forests or plains dotted with significant stands of trees.
Social Structure: Large herds with an alpha male, females subservient to males
Extra Information: Iguanodon bernissartensis is a deadly animal to try to take down. Most predators will only attempt to take one from the sides, as their thumb spikes can leave deadly stabbing wounds and their tails pack a whallop. Even raptors are more cautious around these animals. Also, males compete in contests where they show off their thumb spikes in wide stabbing motions. Both males are far enough apart where their thumb spikes can’t injure each other. If the contests become more intense, they will move on to tackling one another, trying to drive their opponents to the ground. A general rule is that males have longer thumb spikes, and the longer the thumb spikes a male has, the more attractive a choice he is for females. One final note is that their fifth fingers are opposable, acting like the thumb on a human hand.

Name: Parasaurolophus walkeri
Length: 30 feet
Height: 13 feet
Weight: 3 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male – Males normally have a brown and orange mottled body with a red crest. In the mating season they turn to a green and brown mottling.
female – Females are a green mottling with some individuals having blue blotches and stripes.
juvenile - male - (male)
juvenile – female – Female juveniles are more yellow in appearance then older females.
Diet: Their batteries of grinding teeth can handle practically all vegetation on the island, so they’ll eat any plant matter they come in contact with.
Preferred Habitat: Open spaces, preferbley with a nearby water source.
Social Structure: Highly sociable, with large herds.
Extra Information: Paras are known to be the most sociable herbivores on the island, often intermixing with herds of Corythosaurus casuarius and numerous other herbivore types. Some para herds have even formed symbiotic partnerships with groups of Brachiosaurus brancai. The paras, with their better eyesight, keep on the lookout for predators, while the brachs repay their smaller companions by protecting them with their immense size and strength.

Name: Stegosaurus stenops “gigas”
Length: 40 feet
Height: 18 feet
Weight: 5 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male – Males have gray and green mottled bodies with gray plates (golden yellow in sunlight).
female - (see male)
juvenile - both sexes – (see male)
Diet: Low to medium-growth plants. Prefers tender shoots due to its simple tooth structure.
Preferred Habitat: Broken forests with ample water supply
Social Structure: Small family groups with one male dominant over all the others. Fiercely protective of their young.
Extra Information: It is important that if one runs into a family group of stegos to NEVER endanger their offspring. Doing so will incite any nearby stegos into an irrational rage, causing them to become exponentially more dangerous than normal.

Name: Scorpion.
Species: Spinosaurus aegypticus "robustus"
Age: 14.
Gender: Male.
Height: 20ft.
Length: 60ft.
Weight: 10 tons.
Wingspan: N/A.
Colouration: Blood red body, with black stripes on his sail and tail.
Bio: Scorpion is one of the largest Spinosaur's on Isla Sorna. He get's his name because his body is very dark, like a Scorpion's, which is very strange for a Spinosaurus. Although he has no close friends, sometimes other Spinosaur's come to his aid when the going gets tough, especially during battle. But aside from that, he can hold his own in a fight often.
Territory: The Lagoon, though is normally found on the Game Trail.

Name: Titanis
Species: Stegosaurus stenops "gigas"
Age: 23 (In dinosaur years.)
Gender: Male.
Height: 18 feet.
Length: 40 feet.
Weight: 5 tons.
Wingspan: N/A.
Colouration: Greyish green body, with grey plates that shine in the sun.
Bio: Titanis got his name because he is larger than mostly everybody in his herd, although he is not the leader, he does server an important position with the leader. He has been with the herd only two years, but has been bumping up the ranks, and now him and the leader are rivals.
Territory: A lakeside on the edge of a huge jungle, which is the main source for many animals, which unfortunately includes carnivores of all sizes.

EDIT: Is there gonna be an OOc for this?

Guess I'll have to wait then. I'm getting bored of my Carnotaurus, so I wanted another carnivore. I already made a new profile.
EDIT: Why isn't anyone posting in the dino rpg anymore? Sad
'NOTHER EDIT: If Simply King doesn't return, I'll just change the char anyway (Not that any one is interested in the rpg anymore....)

Thought you were gone for good SK.
