Carnifax-The Begining

I'm going to start posting chapters from my LTL fan fic 'Carnifax-The Begining' to here. Hope you guys like it

PROLOUGE
Thunder booms in the midnight air as lightning tears through the dark sky. Rain droplets pitter-patter against the concrete road, as the winds of a storm shake the trees violently. A small compy sniffs the air as it comes from the jungle, smelling eggs. It was suicide coming out from the cover of the foliage, but food had become scarce. The compy walks over the skeletons of dead animals and humans as it approaches a huge, vine-covered building. Holes speckle the building, allowing the light of the moon and lightning to filter through. Vines and foliage were covering and growing through the building, showing years of abandonment. The compy sniffs the air, it was getting closer to the eggs. But it could smell something else...the smell of death and decay. Whatever the egg belongs to, the compy would be unlucky to find it. It squeezes through a small hole in the wall, quickly but cautiously steping through. The floors were covered in water, plants, and dried blood. The compy chirps worriedly, scared of what may have lived there. It follows the scent of eggs for several meters before coming to a door that was broken apart. It cautiously steps into the dark room, sniffing the air. It had much more plants, water, bodies, and blood in it. It was pitch black, the compy has to use caution when walking. A flash of lightning lights the room up for several seconds, revealing a nest on some strange machine [embryonics room]. The compy quickly climbs up and starts poking at an egg with the tip of its snout. Another flash of lightning lights the room for a second, long enough for the compy to see the silhoutte of two raptors on the other side of the room, approaching quickly. The compy shrieks in terror, getting off the egg as fast as it can and trying to run. One of the raptors snatches it up in its jaws, swallowing it down. The two Nublar raptors, Mulus and Viridis, walk to their nest of eggs. Suddenly, in the night of the storm, the egg that was being poked by the compy, slowly starts to crack. Mulus, the father, sniffs the egg. It grunts for the mother, Viridis, to get next to him. They watch as a baby raptor slowly pokes its head out. It gives a weak shriek and pushes its arms through the egg. This, was Carnifax. He pulls his body out and shrieks wealky again, letting those of Isla Sorna know of his presence, the raptor of the storm.
