Height: 15 feet
Weight: 4 tons
Wingspan: N/A

Preffered Habitat: Open spaces like the Game Trail.
Social Structure: Medium-sized packs with the occasional solitary rouge male.
Extra Information: One of the largest carnivores on Isla Sorna, when hunting in packs they are feared for their supreme hunting success, and have been known to bring down Brachiosaurs in epic fights-to-the-death. So if you spot their distinctive yellow eyes on the Game Trail, beware.
Name: Carnotaurus sastrei
Length: 18 feet
Height: 8 feet
Weight: 1 ton
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: Base color is a chalky white, but is only seen when the animal is sufficiently surprised. Individual carnotaurs are known to have one other base coloration they are most comfortable with, this taking the place of the usual individual variations of color in other dinosaurs. This means that, when revealing themselves when not frightened or surprised enough to let the chalky-white base color slip, individual carnotaurs display a wider array of color patterns than any other animal on the island.
Diet: Meat from small to medium prey.
Preferred Habitat: Anywhere there is sufficient shade so that the dancing sunlight patterns don't leave trails on their skin and reveal their presence.
Social Structure: Typically found in groups of 2 or 3 animals, with only a loose pack structure.
Extra Information: Nearly perfect chameleons. They use this skill to make up for their rather sluggish natures, being unable to chase prey for any substantial distances without tiring. Another thing of note is that, much like how in humans the decision-making centers of the brain do not become fully developed until adulthood, younger carnotaurs lack the necessary brain pathways to achieve full control of their color-changing abilities. This control comes upon adulthood, so hatchlings and juveniles only display rudimentary color-changing, such as changing colors based upon their mood. The ability to achieve the near-total invisibility there are famous for is a sign of adulthood. Carnotaurs are also primarily nocturnal animals, as their distinctive green eyes would show. On a final note, they have a distinctive roar again unlike that of any other dinosaur- BRAAAGHT!
Name: Ceratosaurus nasicornis
Length: 30.5 feet
Height: 12 feet
Weight: 1.2 tons
Wingspan: N/A
Colouration: male Males have red heads. Their bodies are a paler red color with black stripes.
female Females have a brown body with pale stripes.
Diet: Meat from small to medium herbivores.
Preferred Habitat: Jungles
Social Structure: Somewhat sociable, will either be found alone or in packs of 2 to 3 animals at the most.
Extra Information: Extremely respectful of the territories of larger carnivores, which possibly comes from it having shared the Morrison fauna with the larger and burlier Allosaurus during its original timespan. Should not be messed with, as it will fight back against anything smaller than one of the superpredators if bothered too much. Possibly at least partly nocturnal, judging by its coloration.
Name: Compsognathus longpipes
Length: 3 feet
Height: 1 foot

Extra Information: These are the most numerous dinosaurs on the island, and are generally harmless, but if in groups they can be very dangerous. Like pirahnas they can use group force to take down prey far larger than themselves. To add to that, they bacteria in their saliva that can eventually prove fatal if one has enough of it in their bloodstream, similar to Komodo Dragons of today.

Social Structure: Pack animals with a patriarchal society. Generally sociable to other dilophosaurs.
Extra Information: Highly venomous. Both bites and spits to deliver venomous saliva. Can spit up to distances of about 20 feet. Venom blinds when delivered to the eyes. Either delivery system will eventually cause paralysis, allowing dilos to take down larger prey than their teeth and claws would otherwise allow. Also juveniles and subadults are very playful and inquisitive, taking their time in taking down prey, while adults are usually more reserved and direct in their hunting strategies.

Length: 5.5 feet
Height: 3 feet
Weight: 55 pounds
