The Lagoon

Raider escaped with his prize. He dropped his kill onto a log and started eating it. When he had his full, he looked at his scared leg. Sure it hurts, but he had worse and it won't take long to heal.

As the small herd of bulky Stegosaurs pushed across the riverbank, Titanis halted to get a drink. The water was surprisingly cold, but he didn't care. The water flushed across his large, bumpy toungue, and down his throat. A few other Stegosaurs were doing the same. His herd didn't consist only of Stegosaurus. A few Kentrosaurs and one or two Polacanthus were tagging along. Titanis raised his head again, then continued to trekk down the long bank with the rest of the herd. He could faintly see the injured Tyrannosaur nearby, but they were safe in such large numbers.

Raider ate everything but the bones and he wasn't full, but he was satisfied. He lookedup and saw a heard of Stegosaurus, Kentrosaurus, and a Polacanthus or two. They had weapons for defense and he knew better than pick a fight with them. He than laid down and started to sleep in the warm sunny spot.

Taking his curious eyes off of the Rex, Titanis noticed that the others were getting ahead of him. He gulped down a small amount of water, before rushing to catch up. "Not again" he thought, picking up speed. In the distance, he could hear Sorna Raptors, which was never a good sign.

Carnifax stood and stretched, he was tired. He roared out, telling any raptors nearby to leave or die.

The herd of Stegosaurs had stopped for a break. Titanis saw the raptor on the other side of the river, and assured the herd that they must keep up their guard. A Polacanthus however, was straying too far into the river.

Carnifax noticed a herd of stegosaurs on the other side of the river from him and snarled hungerly. He noticed a nice, shady tree and sat down under it, falling asleep.

*Krohn has entered the Lagoon*

Stomping towards the river, the old Carnotaurus almost instantly noticed a velociraptor hardly fifteen feet away from him, and a herd of Stegosaurus. He bobbed his head down for a relaxing drink, before diverting his gaze back at the other dinosaurs. "Lunchtime" he thought.

Carnifax woke up and turned his head to see a carnotaurus drinking water not to far away from him. 'Uh-oh...' Carnifax thought...

Krohn noticed that the raptor had spotted him, and let out a warning growl, signalling for the raptor not to get any closer.

Carnifax backed away, not wanting to fight the carnotaurus. He hissed loudly, backing under a tree.

Knowing that the raptor wasn't in the mood for a big fight, Krohn resumed his drinking. Then he concentrated on the Stegosaurus herd on the other side of the huge river.

The sound of a raoring Carnotaur had woken Raider up. He walked from where he was sleeping till he came across a raptor that was about 50 feet away and a Carnotaur stalking the herd of Stegosaurus. He let out a roar that should have told the Carnotaur, "You woke me up, now you will pay."

Krohn shot an angry look at the Rex, before diverting his view back at the Stegosaurs. The huge bellow from the Rex had panicked the herd, and they were getting into defensive formations. Enraged, the Carnotaur looked back at the rex, and then the herd. He was faced with a dilemma. Who to go after?
